What specific complications of an EVAR do you know?


- Intraoperative complications include rupture of the aneurysm, and endoleak, where blood continues to leak into the aneurysm sac causing a delayed rupture.

- Postoperatively early complications include mesenteric ischaemia, renal failure (exacerbated by use of  contrast), infection and myocardial infarction.
